Sacroiliac Joint Pain Syndromes
Sacroilitis is inflammation of the sacroiliac joint. The sacroiliac joints (SI joints) connect the spine to the pelvis and lower skeleton.
Causes of SI Joint Pain:
- Putting strain on the joint and supporting ligaments and soft tissues
- Lifting while in awkward positions
- Arthritis
- Collagen vascular diseases
- Signs and Symptoms:
- Localized pain
- Pain is constant and characterized as aching in nature
- Muscle spasm

- Heat and Cold Therapy
